On 2023-05-31 we will update the public IP address of our CloudBoxx API and CloudBoxx Push Message Queue.
The change will be implemented as follows: - At 2023-05-31 08:00 UTC, we will update the DNS A Record of api.cloudboxx.invers.com to the new IP address 185.197.180.180. As the DNS change propagates globally, your applications should gradually switch to the new IP address on reconnection. - After 2023-06-05 08:00 UTC, we will no longer accept new connections on the old IP address and existing connections may be terminated.
What do you need to do prior to this maintenance? In most cases you will not have to make any changes to your applications. Only special configurations may require adjustments, some examples are: - You are filtering your outgoing connections using a firewall - You are accessing our services directly using our IP address instead of our hostname - You are using software that caches DNS responses forever and will require a restart (e.g., Java with security manager / networkaddress.cache.ttl configuration option)
